Pay attention to the shipping and delivery information that you receive by email and make sure that the package can be accepted. Otherwise, due to partial closings of parcel shops, the parcel will be returned immediately.
The real shipping costs overseas may be significantly cheaper, as stated in the shop. In these cases, a refund will be made. You can also inquire in advance and receive an individual offer.
Due to the continuing high number of parcels and the still high security measures, capacity bottlenecks are currently occurring in some areas of our parcel network in Germany. This also leads to delays in the collection of packages from our business customers (e.g. online shops) and in delivery. We ask for your patience and understanding in these cases.
There are still no significant restrictions on the delivery of letters within Germany and our range of services in branches and DHL parcel shops.
As Deutsche Post DHL, we will continue to do everything we can to ensure that letters and parcels are transported and delivered across the board, and at the same time we want to help curb the spread of the virus. To this end, we take measures continuously and in accordance with the recommendations of the responsible authorities (especially the Robert Koch Institute) to minimize the risk of infection for you and our employees.
